A Scrumptiously Sweet Feast with Carina Finn
a buffet of pastries and delectable conversation
While nibbling on cream cheese frosted carrot cake, dark chocolate ganache mini tarts, and French macaroons, we'll be chatting with author Carina Finn about food as storytelling, and the challenges of a world that sees only in absolutes, and what place fairy tales have in the lives of adults and children.
Copies of book 1 & 2 of the Feast & Famine series will be available for purchase and to have signed and dedicated by the author, or can be reserved by pre-ordering.
Event & books for ages 10 and up.

No Assigned Reading. Ever.
Is it ok to …talk?
Yup! We all love some silent reading time, but this book club is all about chatting it up. Need some space and feeling overstimulated? You can always step aside and just read! Don’t worry, we’re all readers here. We get it.
Do I need to be a member?
Nope! It’s a free event, and open to everyone. Come to just one, or make us the hub of your social scene. It’s up to you!
Is it ok if I come alone?
Sure! This is all about meeting new fellow readers. But you can always come with a crew and we’re psyched to meet your friends!
Ok… How does it work?
Show up.
Write 2-3 books you’ve read on a notecard.
Get grouped with fellow readers.
Pass your notecards around the goup.
Talk about books you’ve read, find out where your reading overlaps, and maybe discover your new favorite author.
