ABOUT NOCOLAS PETHAS:

Nicolas Pethes is Professor of Literature at the University of Cologne, Germany, where he has taught literature, memory studies, and popular culture since 2014. His current research focuses on interrelations between pop-music and literature. He has published articles on Springsteen and Dylan and is co-editor of Germany's leading magazine on pop culture, Pop. Kultur und Kritik.

ABOUT NATALIE ADLER:

Natalie Adler has an MFA in Fiction from Brooklyn College and a PhD in Comparative Literature from Brown University. She was a Susan Kamil Emerging Writer Fellow at the Center for Fiction and is an editor at Lux magazine. She is from New Jersey and lives in New York City.
