THE ELUSIVE & THE RARE or the half remembered
Finding hidden treasures is our specialty. We have quite the collection on site, as well as a back-stock of hard-to-find Collectibles. Even if we don’t have the book you’re looking for today, we can add it as a Customer Request and let you know should a copy walk in our door.
For the truly elusive editions, we work with a network of independent brick & mortar bookstores to put books into the hands of the readers who seek them. No request is too strange, and no particulars to …particular.
If you have a long list of books you’d like is to hunt down, check with us first so we can make sure we get all the info we need from the get-go.

This is for requesting a single book.
Please provide as much information as you can / as is needed. If you are looking for a specific edition or printing, please make note of that. If you’re not sure of the year, or publisher, let us know so we can give you some options. Be sure to include details like “embossed” or “red-edgepaper” if you’re only interested in a copy with those particulars.
We’ll let you know by email when we’ve seen your request –usually on Tuesdays– and clarify any issues at that time. When we find the book you’re looking for, we’ll send you photos of it to ensure it is indeed the book you have been seeking.
You are at no time obligated to buy a book you’ve asked us to look for until it comes time for you to come pick it up, or for us to ship it to you. If you find a copy before we do, we ask that you let us know, especially since there are some books that are sought after by more than one customer at a time and there may be a list of people waiting after you!
